Got Haggis?

George Lucas recently held a Q&A session at SIGGRAPH 2005. Heres an excerpt from <a href="http://www.gamesindustry.biz/content_page.php?aid=1055 6">GamesIndustry.biz</a>:
<blockquote>
alking at his "Q&A with the Father of Digital Cinema," section of the conference in Los Angeles, Lucas announced he intends to get more involved with his company's videogame division, LucasArts.
Although often criticised for his stilted dialogue and characters in films, the movie-maker expressed he wants artificial intelligence and speech recognition to improve "to a point where you can talk to the game and it will talk back."
</blockquote>
I think first Lucas might want to look into creating better GAMES. While LucasArts has put out some amazing games (Secret of Monkey Island, Tie Fighter, Grim Fandango) they have put out some real duds as well. I read recently that Lucas has relocated all his studios (flim, effects, + game) to one location in San Francisco so that they could all work together. Hopefully that will help restore the glory days of LucasArts. I'm still bitter at the cancellation of Full Throttle 2.
