Should I buy this game?

hmmm? I'm need a break from WoW, this a good candidate (I was a DC afficionado/CS junkie, will this disappoint me?)

This will have you addicted for months, years probably. :D

Although it's also probably the worst best game due to the crappy UI and numerous bugs. I'm pretty sure those issues will be addressed sometime soon though.

If you don't mind completely unbalanced gameplay, buggy user interface that randomly "Esc's" you out of game, and of course newbie-like aiming... then yes, get it. The game at least looks good (vehicle/water/player-wise). Unlike the previous installments of Battlefield, this version seems to run really well at high settings, which is a plus.

I played CS and Source, so I can tell you right now... aiming in this game is more along the lines of shitty CoD; aim in their general direction and single-shot/burst. It doesn't require a lot of individual skill, mainly just vehicle whoring.

p.s. Pubs are complete crap, especially with admins busy kicking people for taking their vehicle, instead of banning the assholes purposefully "suiciding" on you, so you get auto-banned for tking. You'll find out real quick how dumb the auto-ban system is, when someone keeps running in front of your tank, or sitting on the runway in front of your jet.

Sum it up: The dev team is full of idiots.

System requirements are a tad high so make sure you've got the right hardware, it needs a patch but it's still playable. 5150 put up some servers but the east coast gets all the attention, haven't seen anyone on the west coast server. Playing on official EA servers that track your stats = horrible lag and random connection problems, right now anyways.

Anyone put up Bandwidth usage stats on a server (average), I work for a company that owns a hosting company, I'm thinking about trying to convince them to sponsor a server, if I like it.

if you enjoyed DC, you will love this game.

the aiming is fine if you arent stupid. i never have a problem getting booted out of game. yes the server browser sucks but who cares.

its good stuff, probably the best strategy+fps out atm.
