This was pretty boring as far as drama goes...except for Rayn's comments. Those I found very interesting.

I want to talk about CPL and CAL and all that shit.

How can some of you take that shit so seriously? "I only play with GOOD players on x and x server." WTF, don't you play games for fun any more?

If that were true Adren then why was I banned from 5150 for something that happened on the forum and not ingame?

Shadow, you're missing the point bro. None of us has super egos or anything. Vir comes off like the way he does simply because it's TribalWar. If you actually start believing some of the stuff that's claimed on here, you need to rethink yourself man. Do you honestly believe we go around adminning the server the way we do and still have a population? This question goes for you too, Data. Have you guys not noticed over the years that it's always the same people that start these threads? They, too, are seeking some drama. The rest jump on the bandwagon thinkin refried actually cares and that he's pissed about being banned. This is all in good fun and laughs.

What im getting at is back in the day there was a rule set on your servers, those rules were something everyone knew and if they didnt follow them fuck it they got banned. Sure they came here and whined, sure they threw up the nazi pictures but for the most part EVERYONE knew the rules and they followed them. Granted some of those people liked to argue and throw up flames for the hell of it thats not what im talking about. What im talking about is one persons ego getting in the way of a fun match. I agree strict rules are for the better, but kicking people who punish you for something YOU did isnt a nazi admin, its an egotistical asshole who thinks because he has you guys backing him he can act like he wants.

again, I see your points about what I said toward him personally, but can you see my points about what im saying in regards to how he is kicking and banning people based on his ego? It would be one thing if Refried did something wrong, or didnt follow the rules, but he was doing something that every bf'r does, takes a node, gets in the enemy vehicles so he can live longer and make sure he gets the cap.

I am a pilot, so I do know what vir is talking about when the bug pops up and shows you on the other team, but at the same time I take the negative points like a man when I accidently TK someone with a jet and they punish me for it. The question is, why cant vir be a man about it? Its one thing if Refried ran out in front of his jeep, then punished him, but refried was at a base, with other friendlies, at a cap point that was either almost taken or completely already ours and he bombed it. So he banned someone because he was a fucktard? I guess your right I dont see your point in relation to him being a shitty admin.

That's the whole point. Had refried chose not to forgive some random pub player, that's a whole different ballgame. The point is he chose to add points to an admin and that's why he was removed (and not banned). Paul is a smart person and knew that if he was removed, he'd come here making a thread causing this drama. Vir knew this as well.

His "asshole-ness" only comes alive on this forum, believe me. My team has gotten to a point where we don't really care how TW perceives us. I think I do, to some degree, and that is why I'm posting. I am, however, more nostalgic and sentimental than others on our team.

You are judging Vir based on his postings here and I completely concur that he comes off as a gigantic egotistical asshole. However, that's how he's choosing to act in this particular forum, and is having great success at creating some drama to entertain himself.

I would like to point out that what Adren says here is entirely true - Back in T:V during the 5150 v c22 after match one drama, I felt the same way as all of you do about vir...egotistical asshole that can't see someone else's point if it was shoved down his throat.

After actually talking to him in Vent and IRC for Bf2, I realized he really isn't like that, outside of the forums. He is just going for a reaction from a community he doesn't really care about. I think it is safe to say he certainly succeeded.

Who really cares how he admins the server, if you don't like it, don't play there. There are plenty of other servers...

Because if you haven't noticed, we not only care about the quality of the player, but also of the person. When you start insulting admins on our server, we will remove you. This doesn't just include in-game and we have always done this. You know this fool. You made a joke and it was straightened out in the end. It's not like we banned you and left it like that.

my personal reason for wanting to play on CAL and CPL is to play the best and possibly win some monays, some people are just competetive like that. Im 28 now so i dont really have time to play strictly "for fun" i'd rather have my time spent playing games be more meaningful like reaching a goal of #1 or something

Then adren, I guess I would have to argue that Vir needs to be smarter about who he shoots at and who he doesnt, not just ban every person who he tk's and they decide it was a good enough reason to punish him for it. If he is getting enough tk' points that he is in fear of being banned, something is wrong with his aim I run bombing runs every night with the guys at work, we play from 7pm - 2am every night and I never have been removed from a server yet from tk points even when idiots run out in front of me while im hauling ass in a jeep and I get punished for it.

But I think we are discussing this for no good reason because both of us feel strongly about it and its your server and you guys feel that vir is smart enough to be an admin. I respect your decision and thats why I dont play on 5150 anymore and moved over to metal marines, not because I hate 5150, or I feel that your rules arent good, I just got tired of the kickings and bannings of people I know for reasons that arent really clear.

Anyways, Drama will always be Drama, I just hope that you dont turn a blind eye to someone being an idiot because you think no one here will ever have a valid complaint about one of your admins.

I'm as competitive as the next guy, and I do enjoy some spirited trash talking. You've met me in person Adren, though I'm not sure how well you remember me. I've also met Vir, and he was extremely quiet to anyone not in his inner circle. I do think that people's personality still translates to behind the monitor. I get riled up, and I don't try to claim I was just joking with people, or that I'm only trolling. It simply isn't true. Vir has issues with ego. It's plain as day to everyone who doesn't try to invent an excuse not to see it. Is it horrible? Not at all. Plenty of people around here have egos. It's more about the attitude of 5150 to ignore it, or rather not admit to it, that people get upset about.

I never understood why everybody rides 5150's nuts when there have always been much better servers with better players in every game they play. Good players dont play on 5150, good players get kicked from 5150 servers.
