Nobody aspired to be either burnyabad or vir in T1. Neither were skilled players. Hell, all Vir did was HoF w/ a fucking blaster in pubs. And all BYB did was get shot off the stand and whine

oh and i would like to address vir's so called nonchalance regarding his picture

i once posted it on the tribalwars, and he began banning me every time he saw me in #5150

i never tried to cause any 'unity' problems

i simply stated that vir is not 5150-material + he brings the rest of your team's image down, which is something you guys used to prize very highly

but now, after the umpteenth 'I/WE DONT CARE' post, i am forced to conclude that you no longer care about looking like a highly-efficient squad of semi-pro gamers, but instead have decided that your penis causes such massive earthquakes when you whip it out that you no longer have to justify any of your actions whatsoever (spewing bile like IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT YOU CAN LEAVE and KICKING PEOPLE FROM MY JETS ON A PUBLIC SERVER IS JUST FINE)

he would be off the stand repairing himself everytime it mattered

or bluenose would just grab it off his head while he stood there like a retard

i place byb with the likes of Locke355, Jon, etc.

were good for the first 6 months when everyone played like newbies

then everyone else learned how to play effectively, but they continued to camp out with sniper rifles, hof with repair packs etc.

This forum has always been this way, and this is why it's always enjoyable to read.

I mean, seriously, at one point, sLaM, dread, and I would come in here in defense of our team, trying to straighten things out much. There's a reason why we don't do it anymore.

You don't need to straighten anything out. 5150 is a cool team w/ a couple of people who act like dueche bags. Every tribe (or team I guess now) has that, you guys are just more high profile, especially since you're pretty much the only good team that played tribes that's still active.

Actually now that I think about it I was banned by Vir from 5150's servers in T:V because I posted his picture (I actually added the text to the one in question here in the thread). I wouldn't have cared that much (T:V only had 2 or 3 populated servers and 5150 wasn't always one of them) except that Pumpkin King was also on my connection and he got banned by proxy.

sLaM was cool about it though, unbanned us and I removed the picture from my host. I guess a few people saved it.

If there was a server filter that blocked all tribes players I would have applied it, this was going to be our fresh start in a game that actually had a future. Sadly there is no such feature.

vir why dont you make a friendly post on cal forums info thread posting your servername and team info to let even more people know about the server, probably would get alot more dif people since the ping is pretty good

But refried, I wasn't trying to smooth anything out to begin with. I'm not posting any cliches either. The people of this forum will think whatever they want to think and nothing will change their stance. It's not serious enough of an issue where anyone will put in any sort of consideration into the matter. I didn't post anything for any laughs either. If you got some laughs out of it, then great.

The truth is Vir or our team doesn't even really care about what people on Tribalwar thinks. As refried mentioned, we're an incredibly image conscious team - everyone knew this about us in the past.
