OK i finally read this thread where is my T-shirt

few points:

1. i have desperately tryin to find a server that has top bf competition, I have played on bucktoof, 20id(usually empty), AFO, and CAL 64 players as well as EA servers w some 20id and -P- guys. unless you are one one of those teams you wont be able to squad up because they make their squads private and if u happen to be commander they will laugh at your attempts at orders.

2. when i first started playing on those other servers recognized CAL teams i was barely goin .500 and was usually in the middle as far as points go (mind you i have never played any bf game) Now Im usually top 3-5 all the time and alot of the times (especially on the EA ones im number one which have great teamwork).

3. I like playing on the 5150 server because of the names i recognize, also i have spoken to -P-Vigor and [20id]busta (both who happen to be from philly area) and even they have heard of 5150 and are curious to see how they do alot of them even come to the server lately i have seen players from PII and 20id so the comp i becoming really good lately except when there are no competent pilots to chase eso, Vir, SA and trem_r around....

4. I think the tribes community needs to get on with their lives(aka leave tribe drama behind), BF and the community are nothing like tribes and tribalwar. now IF there was a thread on CAL forums flaming 5150 then i would take it serious, but the tribes community has always been a bit dramatic. (gives me something to laugh at during work)

btw, in the bf community, LORD and Mafia Nation were the best DC teams, and I assume that they will be the teams to beat in BF2 (since they're almost the same game)

4. I think the tribes community needs to get on with their lives(aka leave tribe drama behind), BF and the community are nothing like tribes and tribalwar. now IF there was a thread on CAL forums flaming 5150 then i would take it serious, but the tribes community has always been a bit dramatic. Are you talking about demo or retail? Because I had no problems finding the best pilots and other quality players in demo. Now I can't find any of them except for who shows up on our server and I check their servers daily. Maybe most people still don't have the game yet, I know several people from my team still can't get one.

basically alot of the communities egos stemming from a dead game, also virs post about 5150 having a fresh start in a new game etc, and people thinking that tribalwar.com is the place to go to learn about all things bf2 (like not knowing that CAL has a bf2 league and who the top teams are?)...

yea those servers i mentioned were mostly in DEMO (alot are empty now)

5150 and CAl and one EA 9 are the only ones I have been able to find good players to pwn

honestly tho, since CAL is really competetive alot of those teams view pubbing as a waste of time, scrimming is where its at just idle in #bf2scrim or for a pug idle in #bf2pug on gamesurge

maybe #4 wasnt as clear as it should be, it was kind of my opinion on a mixture of things. I didnt say anyone said that but from peoples posts of "what are the top teams" , "does cal have a bf league", "whats a progamer" you can tell that many dont get outside of these forums much (not their fault, TW can be addictive)

I bet 90% of the regulars on 5150 servers really suck. I've yet to play on their servs simply because I like the competition I face on 64 man servs. I can't say that i'm not kinda curious how 5150 will fare when it comes to CAL competition...in all honesty, I do hope they own all the other teams, as that will only reinforce the belief that Tribes gamers are the best gamers.
