to be able to control how the game of play IS played. if i dont like a server because of <something> then i could a)play somewhere else or b)control the atmosphere in which I play

but then you dont know if people will play your server and you might not have enough cash

you also get advertisment. if your server is the best out there then the best players are going to come. AHHH so now red uses his money to have the best shit so all the good players that have no soul join his team to gain admin to a good server. then he uses these good players to increase his chance at internet fame
