Tomorrow morning I fly out from Midland, TX to Tampa, FL on a journey to fellow triber Unamed's crib. A couple weeks ago he asked me to come out and play the tournaments at his local card room/casinos and some of the NL cash games around tampa/st pete so I of course said yes needing a break from no man's land.

I expect to be out there a week, so In between casino runs and road trips I will update this thread with happenings, bad beats, suck outs, and hopefully tales of heroic success.

each day his post will start... so today i bluffed off my whole stack. how can he call me with top pair? i dont care though, i will do the same thing tomorrow to make them realize how much of an advanced player i am.

lemme start this off right, he is stuck in atlanta waiting on his delayed flight now for about 2 hours...lol that's what you get for picking the first flight you see

ya in florida card rooms its 18+, so anyway yeah my flight got delayed twice and i was on a plane/in an airport for over 12 hours today.

on to Day 1

i got into tampa around 6pm and we headed to unamed's work (the derby poker room) for about 6 hours. i made about $200 playing 2/2 LIMIT :lol: but there were 2 other tournaments i played in throughout the course of the night. the first was a $45 multi that i doubled up in early on and eventually lost my entire stack when i flopped top pair/flush draw/straight draw with 98h. so after bubbing in the first tourney, i signed up for a 5 table turbo which was a complete disaster. i think i lost about 5 all ins and busted in final 2 tables.

sooooooooooo after unamed got off work at midnight, we went out for a drink and headed to a local 1/2 NL cash game. the max buy in was $300 and it started out pretty slow. i was down $350 in the first hour or two, not catching a break against the tight ass nutsetters from tampa. but a few min later i caught a lucky break when my j9o beat AQs on a 8s 8d Ts board by rivering a 9.

after the quick turnaround, i started bullying the game all night. some highlights included some prick pulling up in his tricked out benz and losing his $300 buy in on his 2nd hand (AA) to my 74h. another would have to be reraising some chick, who was deep stacked at $600, with JT and hitting the flop of Q98 against her 99. so when it was all said and done, eyecu took home about $1100 from his first tampa home game by busting nearly every player at the game atleast once, including unamed :p

well i havent slept in over 2 days so i wont bother proof reading this bullshit, updates to come tomorrow or sunday.
