no shit. and the mats to craft once it is implemented; 100 arcanite bars, eternium bars (dunno how many)...etc, wtf. sooo lame.

i hope the weapon is that godly (i'm sure it will be, but at what cost?).

The rumor stands that it takes 10 arcanite bars to make one elementium - thus why everyone claims you need 100 arcanite (it requires 10 elementium). The farthest anyone has publicly gotten is learning who they have to find to smelt eternium.

The guy who knew how was "swallowed" by a fissure in darkwhisper gorge - the person who leads you to him afaik is in the same area. Only the people with both parts are supposed to be able to see the npcs involved, thus the reason for the time its taking.

doubt im gonna, i keep meaning to log into my account and send some xmas presents :]
the game just requires too much time and i wont be happy playing it "casually", on top of everything being based on greed (loot) pretty much, mmorpgs are kinda sour for me now.

the sun is nice tho :D

Yeah same here. It just doesn't appeal to me anymore and it's so time-sensitive. Have a friend I quested with until I hit lvl 46 or so, then shit happened and I had to do stuff IRL. Now the friend is lvl 60 and running around with other friends and still can't do any raid dungeons thanks to her OC controlling habits with her own guild.

It just doesn't seem like fun anymore. :shrug:

There is a quest that is to get both peices, and once you do that, there is something about getting 100 arcanite, and some other mats I think. Supposedly it opens the door to something in silithus.

I've heard that once the two pieces are combined, it will open silithus. though I'm not sure if it's a world event.

the weapon itself is probably used to do something in regards to silithus.
