I bought it 9 months ago. nothing is wrong with it, ive used it quite a bit and never have gotten any errors. Im not selling b/c its busted, im selling b/c i dont use it anymore, recently I've only used it for DVD's but now i just bought that tiny ps2 so i no longer have need for the xbox..

just look underneath the xbox and see when it was made, if it was earlier, 2k3 down, it was probably a thompson drive, newer philips, etc
