(6'5 180 is a little too skinny IMO) pahuyuth 04-17-2005, 09:34 PM wow. that's one of the most dramatic changes I've seen. Congrats! Plasma 04-17-2005, 09:50 PM Very nice work. Mafo 04-17-2005, 09:51 PM hero Plasma 04-17-2005, 09:59 PM I scared the shit out of my extended family at christmas. People at work I hadn't seen in a while didn't recognize me any more. I could jog up a few flights of stairs and not get winded. I slept better, all the weird aches + pains had gone away, and my blood pressure was back to normal. My doctor (who had read me the riot act at 360) saw me at 185 or so and told me I should probably send an email to the people who made my windbike to get an advertising deal. Care to elaborate on this? What happened at the family gatherings etc please explain :) Also, did you try adn go for the bike advertisement? Send in some pictures! Recar 04-17-2005, 09:59 PM Diox, what did you do in the evenings or late night for a "snack". I work alot into the evenings and it can sometimes be 6-8 hours before I goto bed after dinner. You look great! Today, I walked 8 miles on a bike/walking trail in town and tried to keep the "food is fuel, not fun" idea in mind. It looks like you've inspired more than a few of us! Thanks! SegaRob 04-17-2005, 10:46 PM hats off to you.. Mangina 04-17-2005, 10:48 PM i used to weigh in at 290, weigh 178 now, did that over 6months Channel 03 04-17-2005, 11:13 PM For people who want to do this while they play computer, here's a miniature stationary bike that can fit under your desk. http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0001FFLBC/103-2648037-2396607 Diox 04-17-2005, 11:17 PM Diox, what did you do in the evenings or late night for a "snack". I work alot into the evenings and it can sometimes be 6-8 hours before I goto bed after dinner. I'd either hit up a 200 calorie protein bar http://www.advantagesupplements. com/myoplitbar12.html or possibly get some 94% fat free popcorn (200ish calories/bag). My hunger threshhold was set at about 100 calories an hour hence either was good for about two hours before I got hungry again. - D Diox 04-17-2005, 11:19 PM Out of curiosity, how many calories did/do you burn on average with your 45 minutes on the exercise bike (if it tracks it)? The bike said something in the 400 range for the 45 minutes. I also keep the handles in stationary so I'm not doing the rowing action while pedaling (kind of hard to use a controller if you do) so that may skew the numbers a bit. You're looking for the metabolism boost as well as the raw burn due to the cardio. If you can do it in the mornings that really is ideal. I wasn't a morning person so I saved it for right after getting home from work (5-6 PM). - D | ||
