Isn't legends only 1/2 way to a beta version? Besides, if you think it sucks, maybe you could donate some of your time and help them make this FREE game, being produced in peoples FREE time not so sucky. I think legends smokes TV as far as gameplay.

I think legends rocks, this is TW and you can post whatever propoganda you like, but you can also easily be made a fool of because of it.

I guess that's the beauty of the internet.

Huh? Have you ever played legends? I suggest you do, it's horrible. Nothing feels right.

I gave it a try about a week ago after getting bored with t1. I joined a server and waited half an hour for it to download maps.

When I finally got in, I had infinite energy, base turrets killed me in 2 hits, weapons didn't feel right...the list goes on. I'm hoping the infinite energy was due to someone with bad modding skills/taste.

1/2 way to beta is pretty irrelevant when you take into account how long they've been working on it. I would put more faith in andrews reversing skills and hudbot than these "game developers".

I just love people who get one to express how much a free game that is nowhere near being finished is crap. :P

Legends is neat in a novelty sort of way. It has potential to be a good game depending upon where they go with it.

I'm sure you'll find whatever Renwerx comes up with as sucking too as well as SS:2485.

Legends is not and will not be Tribes. Those working on it have probably already learned, like every other developer who has ever stepped key into these forums, to ignore pretty much everything said in here.

Go make your own fricking game. Ya could have just as easily tried it, disliked it, and uninstalled it. Coming here to try and stick your foot up its ass (or any other game for that matter) ain't gonna change anything.

None of the Legends team ever posted on here, "We will save Tribes! Play our game!" They simply stated what they always have, "We'll make Legends in our spare time and it will be its own game."

The perfect sequel to Tribes (insert version here) will never be released. For every person that likes it, another 50 will flame it.

based on what you're saying here, you played on a (wildly) modded server.

in Legends base, you have about the same amount of energy expenditure as in t1 base, the turrets definitely take more than 2 hits to kill a light, and the weapons feel pretty ok. :)

but I apologize of our team of "game developers" somehow offended your sensibilities. Please don't bother playing our free game ever again - i would hate to feel responsible for your pain.

The physics in game are pretty good so it feels familiar, but some of the gameplay apsects and obviously graphics etc could use some improvement.

Its a good solid framework for any mod makers. The base game is alright, nothing that gets you real excited to play for hours., but who knows where it can go with some more maps etc.
