no, people will play it of course...i just thought it was funny that it wasn't mentioned in the press release.

You are more than welcome to play T:V at the LAN but there won't be a sanctioned tournament with a game that's not ready for tournament play. I love the game but I want to be able to assure people that we'll have a fair tournament. I can't do that with T:V.

being on a lan i highly doubt you would see the high ping tourney mode problems that is currently the only major problem with t:v competition.

Last year there were also problems with T1 and T2 servers lagging if the T:V beta was being run on them at the same time because it's such a resource hog. Will you guys provide seperate boxes for a couple T:V servers, or make people host off their own machines for T:V?
