I have a 53 shammy on Tich. Ive pretty much started grinding mainly since level 40. Im looking for some areas/advice from some other shamans on grinding. Im enh/rest(21) spec. I can use axe of rinji + shield or the 2h princess mace.
Every area and angle ive tried, I average about 18k xp/hr. Im looking to get around 25k an hour.
Ive read alot of posts on grinding/farming areas, but nothing specific to shamans, just rogues.

the bloodelf casters in azshara are great for shammy farming. They are 52-53 and low hp low armor. between grounding and earth shock you will rarely taste a nuke.

only thing that sucks about azshara (atleast on bleeding hollow) is the grotesque amount of gold farmers there. In my experince there you're either spending most of your time fighting for control of the camp or have to share it with some same faction chinese player who's a robot and neither of those yeild very good results.
Shamans suck for grinding i think...hunters got its made..as well as others with their long range magic talents and at least warriors are made to take punishment later on in the game.
But i have a 50 shaman and i find it boring to lvl outside of an instance.
I mean really slow....i kind of find it WORTHwhile to be un ungoro right now as there are some quests opening up.
But yeah the grinding thing is just bleecch
