New Shuttle SN25P Freezes when CD is inserted.

So i just finished building a new shuttle sn25p (nforce4).
The thing is SWEET, aside from one problem that I am having.

I have 3 sata devices on this baby.

1 74gb Digital Raptor
1 300gb Seagate NCQ drive
and
1 Plextor 16x DVD-RW

Aside from the initial windows setup. And the time I installed the chipset drivers off of the CD. This thing hangs when I put a cd into the drive. Both plextor and shuttle tech support are baffled.

i've tried moving the cables around to no avail.

Ideas?

Find out what kind of SATA controller is on board and ask that company. It is probably a POS Silicon Image which are prone to fuckups on epic scales.

check to make sure DMA is enabled in device manager

it was a chipset issue. I installed the newest nforce4 drivers and it works now.
