SO dire maul has those damn dogs around the humanoid mobs.

I have groups telling me to sap, and I have to tell them I can't because the dog is too close, They keep bitching at me, so I try just to show em, and what do you know, The dogs aggro before I even get close.

And the groups still bitch at the next dog/ogre pull. "Try distracting the dogs"

Why the hell were the dogs added? Rogues are one of the most unwanted classes, and even less so now with the dogs canceling out our method of crowd control in DM. I get to sit in the ack waiting for the warrior to pull and mage sheep, then go up and spam backstab the whole ogre side.

dont sweat it, as good as sap or imp. sap is, higher lvl instances always favor the tank pulling and gaining aggro first.

only particular people stay in these mind sets. if they still force you to do it, use distract and sprint if you have to.

at lvl 60 its actually possible to sneak all the way in the back of the N wing and get to the lil goblin guy to see what recipes he drops if you have the one key he wants and to get the ogre suit, you can also sneak all the way into the library area as well.

just gotta watch and move according to the dog patrols, some of my guildies and i (team stealth) were farming the hell out of this place already with our "content skipping" abilities.

Our team was all level 60's, warrior, shaman, mage, priest, they walked along the wall without aggroing the dogs, I tried walking along the wall in stealth mode and drew aggro. That's alot of stealth hate.

I was lucky to get into that group, at any time, there's about 10 other rogues trying to get a group for DM without luck :/

And why are you trying to get a DM group anyway? I went once to get level 60 water for two mages in my guild, and I'm never going back. I have yet to see anything drop there that I would even THINK about wearing, other than the 2% dodge trinket, which isn't that exciting.

I've done 3 DM runs and thats pretty much it, I only went back the first two times to do every quest we could find(yes, we've done the gordok gauntlet quest)

and the only two drops I've seen for a rogue are the Muggers belt and distracting dagger, everything else is crap, even the gordok quest has nothing for a rogue.
It's got very nice glove rewards for Caster, druid, Mail wearers, and paladins and warriors. Nothing for a rogue.
