The major upset is that this kind of incompetence is running rampant through the games industry. Irresponsible publishers that don't know ANYTHING about the industry, have no intention of actually doing their jobs, and don't give a rodent's rear orifice about their customers are destroying too damned many promising products.

Grr... I could rant more, but look at it this way: What's going on is very much like what happened in the music or movie industry. Look at what's happening to Music Labels now. Movie distributes got the stuffing knocked out of them quite awhile ago and it's back to actual production companies running most of the show.

VUG is just expediting it's own decline.

I like how the Vug site is still trying to sell a game that they have abandoned. Shouldn't they legally have to print a disclaimer that they are not supporting the game anymore? If not, then how about a moral obligation. Not another dime to them!

Quite amusing - I leave a very vulgar rant full of carnal verbs as a post - it simply gets deleted. Bit leaves his little rant, which is nothing compared to what I wrote, and he was banned.

Hi all,

Sorry to delete the previous thread. I know there are some hard feelings and I'm was willing to allow a brief period of time to let off some steam. But despite the best efforts of the moderators that thread was just completely unconstructive.

I've started a new thread in the spirit of keeping an open channel for constructive dialog. I will continue to read the posts here and report back to management. I will make sure your voices are heard.

Despite what you may be reading on this board at the moment - we really do care about you. And decsions like this are not made lightly.
