will be relatively the same without the patch. Grow up, the patch wasn't going to do anything anyway.

Don't get me wrong, I am fucking PISSED. Ask anyone in my clan, they heard my BS over vent. But holy living shit. Everyone who played the game pre announcement will continue to play. The small community will keep self prepetuating itsself for a year and a half or so until competition completely dies as mods maps and pickups of all shapes and sizes are realesed.

There is still a future in Legends if the cards are played right, and if worst comes to worst, you can hop on a T1 pub and still enjoy yourself.

It is NOT the end of the world that the patch was cancelled. Keep playing if you like the game, quit if you don't. The game is playable, and you are completely overreacting if you think otherwise.

With no patch or hope of a patch: TV is dead. The remaining players will eventually disappear as the hacks keep coming.

I'm glad you're feeling positive about the game.

In my serarch for reason behind the hate for T:V I discovered two things

1. The game does not support large players.
2. There will be no 1.1 patch.

These two things have been in every tribes game till now and I can understand why people will be upset. However, this is not Tribes. This is Tribes Vengeance and I feel that like every game that has failed that there will still be those willing to play which inspires playtribes.

So my conclusion is; if you enjoy This Tribes Game then play This Tribes Game. But also relies that this could lead to a end of all tribes games and even though it's pitiful for some and a celebration for others; together lots has been learned. Lots has been enjoyed and lots have made way to the future of gaming. So enjoy playtribes and enjoy the future what ever that may be.

Or as Legends comes out with new versions.

I love optimism. And, going along with that theme, I will continue to play T:V until the point where I can switch over (or find a game superior to Tribes, which is unlikely).

It's not sarcasm either. It's too late into the morning/night for sarcasm.

I'll be playing T:V. I host small LAN parties of T:V and they are sure a heck of fun. I hope you guys can find some excitement out of T:V like I have. If you don't, good luck in your search for other games, or returning to T1 or T2.

I don't fucking care anymore.

I'm going to be working on a map or two more and I'll prolly play until there's no one left, but I honestly don't give a damn.

At this point, I'd rather see the game die than VUG making any more money off it.

BEML (http://beml.org/) will still hold T:V Season 2 and will continue supporting T:V as long as there are sufficient teams interested in playing it.

The last 4-5 days I've been Playing Tribes 2 Renegades and can't figure out why I dropped it for T:V. T:V had a lot of promise. I like the skiing and graphics better, but is seriously lacking in netcode, tourney mode, recs, voting and limited player's per server size. Hell I fired T2 back up, I haven't played T2 since T:V beta came out. I looked at all the T2 servers still up, saw Houston Vehicles with 60/64 players on. I jumped in, NO lag with 60 players. I could snipe effectively. Twas a blast. Then I got on one of the renegades servers with all the Ren armours, weapons and deployables and shit son, I'm gonna clean up my hard drive and Remove T:V from it. Damn game is slowin my PC down. I've have it installed on my laptop, my desktop, and my main server. I'll be removing it from all 3 later today. VUG/IG can lick my harry balls.

To all the Diehard T:V fans. Good luck. You have some talented mappers and I hope their efforts haven't been in vain. Hopefully, we can get legends/renegades up to speed with nice art/models and get the T:V community behind it.

I will play what I enjoy until I am bored of it, or till I find something I enjoy playing more.

Till then, I will probably continue to map for T:V as long as there are people to play on the maps and enjoy them.
