What should I do to fix cosmos with this new patch?

Need some advice. WoWToc doesn't seem to have done me the fix. Tried deleting my current files, redownloading it, and then WoWToc'ing it, but no dice.

Any suggestions?

dont use WoWtoc.exe. just turn off version checking

i turned most of my ui shit off with the new patch. there's extra slots and sidebars integrated into the UI now.

Should I drop cosmos and get CT mod?

I dunno what CT mod does or where to get it, but I hear alot of people saying its alot more useful than cosmos.

If I could get some tech wizards to help me out installing I would gladly look into it. If its as good as everyone says it is, why not jump on the bandwagon? :P

Hrmm I honestly don't know his name...forgot. As its not my main character, but he's level 23.

I only play him when Sargeras is down. have a 50 gnome warrior on that.

Doesn't the patch make some of the mods kinda redundant?

My advice is to delete the interface/addons folder completely and then run cosmos.exe in the wow directory. It has an option to remove cosmos completly from wow.
If it's still broken, delete the inteface folder and the WTF folder completely.

Don't re-install cosmos untill the version is updated to work with the latest patch.
Try the new built in bars that come with the patch untill they get the kinks ironed out.

Download CTModhere (http://www.ctmod.net/downloads.ct). I like it a lot more because it has better bars in my opinion, as your are able to hide ones that you don't use and there are more of them. It just seems to bemuch cleaner looking than Cosmos. I recently switched and I like it a lot more

All of the new features such as bottom bars (left/right), sidebars (1+1 on right side) chat bubbles (all/party) can be toggled on/off in the interface options screen.

Cosmos simply has too much bloat now IMHO. CTMod gives many similar features but you'd best do your research to find out if your 'must have' mod is supported as a stand alone. Personally, I'm a stand alone all the way kinda guy. Bits and peices from what I like need make an interface that does what I want, and nothing more.

hell yes. CTmod is far superiour to cosmos as far as functionality goes. Perhaps it doesn't have the same range of options, but it is far less buggy and it uses way less memory. Anything that is missing from it can easily be replaced with a standalone mod.

Not sure how much will be redundant or if it works with the new patch, but I use Ultimate UI found at the above link. It is much better and cleaner to me than the others.

From the guys page on one of those links..

Does CT_Mod have some similar to Cosmos' Quest Minion?
