Outlook Express

I got a new system a month ago, installed WinXP Pro on it, and I use Outlook Express for my emails. Everything works great except one thing. Whenever I open new email, write new email, or try to edit draft email, I just cant highlight. I try to highlight something to Copy or Paste, and it just doesnt do anything. Its like .PDF file. My laptop is running WinXP Home and I use OE for emails there as well, and it works. Anyone know whats wrong?

P.S.: If i try to edit draft, I can still click on the spot where I want to edit, and have to erase word or sentence using backspace...since I cant highlight it.

i have never liked using outlook epxress

I wanna use...Thunderbird that goes with Mozilla Firefox which just over rides OE and i can't get any of it to work..don't know how...
