i would like to be added under the directory of Alcohol, subdirectory Drinking, subdirectory Vodka

this is very important, right there

it is important to know how to drink right, even though you don't always do it, when you just don't care, or when you really want to get completely shitfaced.

but sometimes you need to stay relatively sober. and don't forget ways to avoid, or to treat a hangover.

depends on the effect you want, i guess..

though i'd suggest eating a lot while drinking. it may take longer to get drunk, and more vodka, but it will definately lower the chances of nausea and hangover. also, drink water, or juices, etc.

freeze vodka in the freezer (goes down so smooth and feels nice in your throat)
the best "zakuskas" (in russian, zakuska means something that you eat right after you drink the shot) are dill pickles, cold cuts, young onion grass, red caviar, marinated mushrooms or tomatoes..

also, some people really like to sniff the "zakuskas" before eating them. i like to do it sometimes, if vodka is unusually bad, or warm.

that's all from the top of my head :)

Yo Bounty, I nominate myself and El Mar for Painting specialists. He's good with color, I'm good with technical and faux techniques. Both due to our jobs. :D

i doubt it is attributed to alcohol per se, but may be due to consumption of large quantities of liquid, and physical activities you do while drunk..

i've never heard or read that alcohol somehow induces heartburn..
