The impact of the "Werewolves" is something that's still debated a lot. Some consider it vastly overstated.
Have you ever read Anthony Beevor's book about the fall of Berlin? I keep meaning to pick that up to see if he has anything to say about the subject since he's generally pretty well respected, but I never get around to it.
SniperOmega 03-18-2005, 11:32 AM cool thread. gj.
I'm an expert on androids. Nobody knows more about androids than I. Because I am one.
You can also put me under weapons/bladed along with ayzianboy if you want. We both own a lot of knives and swords. :p:

And I agree to an extent regarding the werewolves, but the activity was significant enough that the German leadership was eventually told to sit on them or suffer consequences. However in the context of my post it was simply to point out that the "end of hostilities" during WWII, as with most wars, was more like a gyro winding down and wasn't as simple as say…capping out as some may believe. ;)
Regarding the book, no I haven’t. To be honest I haven’t purchased any books on the subject in a few years as much on the subject these days is being produced by revisionists with an agenda to rewrite history based on flimsy evidence or simply a new spin on an old story. I like getting the facts straight as much as the next guy but information that is highly speculative doesn’t interest me that much. I will check that book out on your recommendation though and see if it’s worth a gander. Most of what is in my personal library was obtained from my father and was written in the 50’s, 60’s, and early 70’s, and is pretty heavy on the aviation and leadership/political side of the scale.

You can probably put SuperSniperX in the home theatre cat too. He's pretty sharp with that stuff.

if I started discussing baryon density and the effects of thermal equilibrium over a few beers with you I can guarantee that your mind would be tuning me out and you soon would be looking at are some women's breasts...
not because you are shallow but because QCD is really dry boring stuff and breasts are infinitely more interesting.
