I'm suddenly having visions of guy.welch in the CapitalOne commercial.

'Who's in charge there?'
'That'd be our CE-No.'

'Nyet, Nein,... Naunka!'

At this point I dont see how Irrational can be proud of any aspect of this game. VUG has made its failure a certainty. Now all they can do is wonder how they let themselves get bent over so much.

That's fine the patch is coming out "at some future date", but do they expect people to wait forever?

What makes you think the patch is going to come out at all? Sure you read on PB's site about this, but that doesn't mean a thing and you all know it. I wouldn't believe that for a second, and until we hear it from the horse's mouth, I'd suggest you do the same.

There will be no patch.

IG is just as responsible for its failure.

How so? They completed all the tasks VUG assigned them without any delays, and that's all they were contracted for. Game balance and performance issues would have hardly been a problem if there's active post-release support from VUG.

Tell that to the competitice community, or what's left of it.

To say that IG had absolutely no part in this sham is ridiculous.

Explain to me how you know this?

I ask, because I can take one look at the Unreal Engine(spoken T:V Engine to T:V crusaders) and see they did absolutely nothing substantial with it...over the course of 2-3 years.

They also promised better modding support, some shit about UGM? That shit, at best is laughable.

Feel free to enlighten us with your secret documents or whatever it is that you feel justifies your statement.

You can't blame IG for not fixing the bugs and whatnot when they didn't even get a chance to do so. If there were several patches and all of them failed to deliver I'd say you're right, but as it is, there is no way to judge IGA's competence in the matter.

They had several chances to fix bugs; even bugs that existed way back in the betas, that, surprisingly, still exist.

IG is nearly as culpable as VUG. I won't buy anything else that IG releases either. Vote with your wallets!!!!

Quotes in the dev tracker is all I can give you. It doesn't really matter though, the damage's already done, but it isn't IG who don't release any patches for 5 months now.

IG and VUG will just blame the 'gamer' for not buying t:v, therefore not supporting it

Most of the people who were in the closed betas reported increasing performance as the newer versions got released. The improvement from beta to demo wasn't negligible either. The demo/retail bugs are few and far between (at least from where I stand).

This is the classic case of the glass being half empty or half full. I see the things that have been fixed, you see the things that haven't.

I see the things that have been fixed, you see the things that haven't.

That's because the things that haven't directly affected my gaming experience, and made it a negative one.

There's not a lot of competitive players that are happy with this game, and that's not just a reflection on VUG.

What will the patch do that will make everyone so goddamn happy?
If you hate T:V as it is today, youll prolly hate it after the patch aswell...So why even bother to wait?
