Amazingly, they failed to follow through.

That was just another deadline they pulled outta their asses.

I think the news he was going to announce is the same thing that EvenBalance (aka Punkbuster) already released... Ie, PB is a go and the patch IS on the way... eventually.

Still stupid as hell to tell one of their moderators that they would be releasiong news in about a week, then not even bother with a quick blerb anywhere.
