Anyone else get *excited* by Legacy and the new T2C movie?

Seriously... I just watched these two movies like 5 times each... Why we play any other game - I don't know. T1 and T2 are the pinnacle of competitive First Person Shooters. How about we all migrate back to these games and do like VUG and IG have done - dump T:V. I'm installing T2 again tonight - let the addiction begin - again!

Edit: And the T2C movie, while alright, is absolutely nothing compared to Legacy. Especially not with that retard voice.

man the vengeance haters are gonna be turning heads once the patch comes out and they see some real demos/movies... the game is fun.

regardless, i really wish meradion was working on a legacy part 2...

For T2ers i recommend the Heatseeker series.

Many don't "hate" Vengeance, it's just inferior to the previous Tribes games.

The game has always looked pretty good. When I see demos of it, it looks so awesome, and it is fun. But thats it's biggest problem, it's fun for 15-30 minutes, then it's old hat.

Watch the T2 Demo "Give Me The Flag", and tell me if T:V even comes close to T2 or T1. It's a great movie although not my fav, but it shows how incredible T2 really is as a game, look what is going on and the talent required to do whats happening on there. On some of the caps they are flying through what would be 3-4 T:V maps. Do you do that kinda stuff in T:V. No, then STFU. There is really little comparison to T:V and the previous Tribes game other than jetpacks and CTF.

I do not "hate" T:V. I await a patch for it too, and hopefully it helps revive it some, but in the end the Unreal engine is just not good enough to pull off a Tribes game correctly. I was excited as hell about the game and had really high hopes for it, but knew something was really wrong when I played the Beta and didn't have the desire to play it again for several days..

T2C was pretty good, but that whole comparison thing with the pseudo-deep voice kind of killed it. Legacy, on the other hand, was just fucking awesome all around.

And I don't even play T1.

T:V maybe new, but it's definetely not better than Tribes games before it.
