buff other classes , don't nerf

is this a feasible stance for a game developing company to have?

i've never seen it.

neat concept though
make the other classes better instead of sucking the fun out of someones char

but the problem is any little change you end up with newbs not adapting and crying about it

almost all of the nerf/need love cries are from total idiots that are genuinely bad players.

-mages cry for love but are an awesome class that really plays well for a good player.
-warlocks cry for love but are absolutely nasty when played by smart people.
-Paladins are always getting railed on but they do no damage and can not do ANYTHING at range, they are just fine.
-Priests are unwholseomly nasty in pvp and people still complain that they are a weak class..
-Hunters ask for buffs cause they have some talent bugs while they can routinely crit for 1000 with autoshot, at 30+ yards. Hunters are completely sick with endgame gear, moreso thanany class i think.
-Shaman are always called overpowered. In the end the shaman melees worse than any other melee class, heals worse than any other heal class and does less spell damage than any cloth cast.

In the end the game really is pretty well balanced any tweaks they make should be rather minor.

It might be possible if people would realize that stuff is overpowered on their own character. People's judgement is always clouded by their fun.

They addressed this issue officially in their forums.

The basic gist is that nerfiing is part of balancing the classes. And from a cose standpoint it is quicker and more stable to nerf one class as opposed to buffing all the other classes. Buffing all other classes requires more time, more code, and could ultimately break something on accident.

Except for warriors, everything is really balanced right now.

didn't asherons call use this logic for a long time? they wouldnt nerf magic(no classes, skill based), but gave melee more and better stuff. eventually i remember they nerfed life magic, but for the most part they didn't nerf much.
