yeah they don't have to buy a physical copy of the game so they gave them a free month like they gave us a quick open beta...

THey do, however, pay more monthly.

i guess they had a 2-3 week headstart (thats when there beta was) before the american release.

on top of that, there version of onyxia isn't as hard as the one we have. supposedly, at the end of the fight, the floor cracks open and spews lava. this didnt happen with the koreans, nor did the firebreathing she does as she flies around the room.

they got 2 passes (headstart+gimped battle), its not legit as i see it.

I'm not impressed with Onyxia loot. There's no reason to do Onyxia over MC for right now (Not until MC is owned up until ragnaros anyways).

Red and orange items aren't even in the game yet. My guess is that when they are, they will be exclusive to raid encounters. The problem is fighting with 59 other people in rolls. :/

yeah, and sadly, pickup raids will be out of the question and be kept only to big guild raids. =/ I want to do mc so badly but have no raid grp to try it out

Same here. Pretty crappy. THREE items for FORTY people and the raid instance locks people out for a week? So you basically HAVE to farm it to get anywhere but you can only do it once a week? Wtf is that?

The best way to deal with rolling with all the classes in raids, pickup, OR guild, is to come up with a points system (ala EQ).

My old guild in EverQuest had a raid points system. If you showed up for the raid, you gained 5 points, I think...It's been 3 years since I've canceled my account...but anyway, people in the guild always got more points than people outside the guild, so if we invited some guests (pickup raid if you will) to come along for raid kills, we would assign them 3 points.

The points accumulated pretty quickly, even if you were a guest, if you came along often. When something drops, all the classes that can use it, will bid for the item using their points.

I remember rolling on Zordak Ragefire's heart to contest another Cleric in the same epic weapon stage that I was in, and I spent all my points (like 130 or so), it was well worth it.

Anyway, I am just rambling.

I'm guessing she probably dropped a lot of blues as well, but I'm not sure.

I think 3 is about right, she needs to drop a large number of something else (like respec stones, in daoc) that can garuntee people will make some cash from it. Maybe some sort of crafting shit, or something.
