Highly concentrated camps of humanoids?

I found out yesterday while soloing Herod in SM that one shot of volley at level 60 can pretty much wipe out a crapload of level 30's at once. I figure that might be a decent way to cash farm as a hunter. Send the pet into a tight packed camp of humanoids, volley, collect loot, move to next camp and repeat. Cooldown on Volley's only a minute.

troll camps in STV usually have 5+ in a small area. i think they might be closer to lvl40 though.

That's a primo levelling spot though, don't wanna take it over. Could probably do 40's with this method (my bear's a monster).

well there're a lot of troll camps, particularly in the hills in the ESE of the zone... not all of them are heavily trafficked.

There is one troll camp where I spent a few nights untouched by alliance just grinding on trolls in STV. I used volley on mobs of 3 letting my pet take out one while I finished off the other 2. That was at about 40-42 with 36-38 mobs. They respawn fast as fuck and I was uncontested so nothing slowing me down.

lvl 30 orc camps in wetlands.

Try the trolls in the Hinterlands. While they may be around 40-45, my 46 mage can AOE a group in no time.

For fair warning both witherbarks and skullsplitters in Hinterlands and STV (respectively) are the most common and possibly only source of wildvine.

Wildvine is used to make Wild Leather armor, and any leatherworker specing in Tribal needs to do that.

So if you find players farming those trolls, you know why.
