I killed a paladin 5 levels above me yesterday

I'm a level 30 troll rogue. He was a level 35 dwarf paladin.

I was seemingly all alone and went to take out a level 34 (orange) mob. When I attacked the mob, it pulled a second 34 mob as well. Knowing I would not survive an encounter with 2 mobs of that high a level, I used my vanish and they proceeded to run away. Within about 3 seconds of vanishing, I see this gnome run right past me to attack one of the mobs that were going back to their pathing location.

So, of course, I contemplated taking him out and began sneaking toward the area he was running. By the time I got to him, he was at about 4/5 health and the mob was nearly dead. I opened up with cheap shot and was able to get him to about 1/5 health with my attacks and the mobs attacks by the time he was unstunned. He hit the mob once to kill it, shielded, healed, and then went after me. Fortunately, I had some silk bandages and healing potions. I combined that with sinister strike, riposte, gouge, and kidney shot and managed to gank my first high level paladin ever.

I'm happy today.

I got a hunter 7 (or 8) levels above me once at charred vale, i had to blow a health potion, but i still got him. 1 on 1, and i didn't jump him.

I grouped with 2 chicken shits in the guild Dont Panic today as well. Originally, I had them group me so I can find them as I was grinding in ashenvale and they wanted to buy shredder manual pages. After trading, they asked me to help gank a couple of guys around 25-30. I did so with ease. About 5 minutes later, they were back with reinforcements and instead of being 3v2, it was 3v5. I stealthed and took out their warrior and had their warlock down to a quarter health before dying because the chicken shits on my side turned tail and ran. The people we were up against were 25-30 and we were 30, 31, and 32.

The other night this (??) Pally was terrorizing flagged toons (including me) in Ratchet and once all the people who got ganked teamed up on him he ran away on his epic mount. What a little bitch.

We had a raid group heading to stratholme, we we're gonna go into east entrance.

I already gone inside the gate, was waiting outside the instance, and apparently, 2 more of the party showed up just as a wave of ten alliance took em out, I stealthed, thinking I would be ok, seeing as to how I could just jump into the instance, instead these assholes all got inside the gate and started camping it.

So, there's 10 alliance on the inside, and 9 horde on the outside, alliance is laughing their asses off, thinking we wouldnt be able to open the gate without them being able to gank the opener. So, our group sat back about 10 ft from the gate, I stealthed along the wall and hit the switch, alliance was surprised the gate opened so suddenly and horde jumped em, a few took off running for the instance before the fight even started.

Refried had his shit set to autorun back to UC 2 nights ago while he was afk doing something. In that time he pulled aggro from one of the level 8 creatures (he's a 57 priest) and by the time he came back to his pc it had killed him.

The point is that your credibility goes right out the window when you don't know the difference between gnomes and dwarves, especially since it's written in the targeting window. For all we know, he was actually 5 levels below you.

Their race doesn't exactly matter as long as I know they're alliance. There's much better information to gather during battle than what exactly the player looks like. You know, their level and class to start off with. And during battle, I'm paying more attention to both our health, the status of spell effects, and when my spells pop.

I also happened to be at work on my lunch break at the time so I had several people behind me screaming "pop a potion! pop a potion! kidney shot! quick, gouge him!"
