Mount money

For all of you who are almost there, how much gold do you got? Alternatively, what level did you get your mount at if you're 40+ and how much farming did you have to do?

Myself I'm at about 75g and 38, right where i should be I think

i didnt get my mount until 43. kept spending all my money at AH
i farmed lanterns pretty good tho and did quests in Booty Bay... they give like 70+ silver a pop.

Borrowed most of it... honestly i dont know how i paid for my mount.

You're in awesome shape if you have that much at lvl 38... I was paying of debts untill like lvl 46.

I just dinged 39 and I have ~25 gold. I have been pretty good at saving for the last level or so. I will hopefully have enough by like 42... I figure I lived without it this long, I can wait a little longer...

I didn't have to farm anything. I got mine at lvl 40 for $0.

I dinged 43 last night and still no mount. I should have it by 45 though, spent about 30g when I upgraded my hunter to mail at 40 and blew a bunch more buying mats for upping my leatherworking skills. Sitting at about 35g now when 2 days ago after hitting 40 and upgraded armor I had only 2-3g.

Im at 39, only have 52g. Gonna have to grind out the skins to get my mount by the time I level.

lvl 38...87 gold.

should be in real good shape to pick up my mount and keep up with my training.....I'm a mage and it looks like we get a ton of new/upgraded spells at 40.

Made most of my money from lvl 30+ by simply raising the buyout prices I list at the AH. No one has any patience at the AH. I guess it's no fun cruising around Thousand Needles and seeing 'you have been outbid on whatever'.....heh

Where'd you get the transmute recipies?

I had 130gp by level 40 simply from skinning/mining.

Now at level 51 I have 500gp from a little side time spent farming SM for greens.

as soon as I hit 40 I walked over and bought my mount. I got all my cash from mining then selling.

Even now my main bank space is almost full with stacks of Iron,Mith, and blasting powders. I just need a good time when it's not laggy to goto the AH.

I think i'm doing something wrong here.
I'm a lvl32 Warlock atm, and i'm barely above 10g.

Ok, i've herb/alch as professions which means no real money and i'Ve to spend ~5g each time i visit my trainer :\

you don't HAVE to buy every spell. pick and choose what you think you'll need right away. i think at lvl 32 for my mage i bought 2 spells, lvl 34 0 spells. i'm 35 right now and i have around 70g, partly because my guild finally got off their ass and supported me as their main enchanter, and partly because i got 2 blue drops in arathi yesterday(pretty random, normal mobs, solo) and i got ~50g for them at the AH.

41 and a little over 50 gold with no mount. Was able to make a grip off 2 blue drops. And both times I think I made my buyout prices too low because they sold almost immediately as soon as I dropped them at AH.

i usually make my buyout prices rediculously high for blue items. that way if anybody wants it bad enough and has a rediculous amount of money to throw around they can, but otherwise they'll have to bid for it. most of the time its something i'd really rather not part with(either for a good disenchant or the chance that sombody i know could use it) but have no immediate use for, so i have to make it worth it. i put my starting bid around what im looking to get for it. i never see any action on the auction until i gets around medium but i always get my price + some.

Well Ive stopped leveling to let some low 40's friends catch up. At 51 can you suggest a better place that doesnt give exp but great loot? SM still seems like a good cash cow for "no exp but good loot".
