Killing Rats in the Deeprun

I find this is the easiest place to level up weapon skills -- I only wish they were bunnies instead.

Best way to do it is to find a creature that is bugged and always evades, you can swipe at them forever.

it would make sense if higher level creatures would raise your defense skill faster but that doesn't seem to be the case. I often get defense gains when I am being chased by low level creatures. I bet you could let a ton of low level things attack you for good defense gains.

i think you can /duel someone with a pet and just attack the pet while the player has the pet on passive and you beat on it and you gain skill

That's a damn good idea, though it probably falls under exploiting rules. There are a shitload of those bugged mobs in Teldrassil.

They actually made it so you don't gain skills in duels.



But you can from rats.



As long as your not dueling the rat.

There's a way you can force the evade bug... something to do with rooting when they break aggro.
