[OFN?] Corrupted UXX files from game server?

Sorry, I don't come in here much, but I'm having a problem that seems to require reinstalling T:V. I searched but didn't find anything...

I was playing on the ::Name Changed:: server and having some weird vehicle lag issues. I noticed after map load that I saw the ::Name Changed:: logo. I got off the server after 5 maps, and when I tried to jump on another, the first map would load and right before I could see anything, I would get the blue skies loading animation and a warning box telling me about corrupted files (something ".uxx").

Best part? On the left of the screen, twice normal size? The ::Name Changed:: logo. :)

So, now I'm uninstalling. Just thought I'd mention it before I move on, in case it's a problem. Flame on!

You know, closing the game and reopening it would be enough heh...

it is a bug with the game where it doesnt garbage collect properly, thus leaves tthe serverlogo portion in memory, so when you hit another server it still "sees" the package

I just got this tonight for the first time. I joined a server, then disconnected (everyone left), then joined another. I recieved this error. Every server after that got the same error.

Closed T:V and opened, worked fine after that.

Oh, IC. Thanks for the replies, I'll be sure not to freak out and reinstall next time this happens. :)
