starcraft/broodwar high latency

okay... so i use to play BW about every day, but then i stopped for awhile

tonight my friends wanted to play again.. so we all get on, they are all in the game, and i try to join and get something like "cant join game due to high latency"

so i host, and they cant join

the fucked up thing is though, i play diablo2 expansion every night(and day) and dont have any problems besides the gay realm downs (bans) that i bypass easily

i dont know whats going on, neither do my friends, so its come down to this

did anything change between this time and the last time you played? sounds like some sort of firewall problem. you might need to map some ports to your computer for battlenet.

google for "battlenet ports" without the quotes. popped up a lot of info.

well, for some reason my router automatically unblocked battlenet ports, so thats not a problem

i dunno whats wrong :(
