Misc TV Map Questions (Mino)

If I get these questions resolved, I could have Mino done in a few days.

1) CC map. I am unable to get this to generate. It gives me a solid black texture. I have given it to a few other people and they cannot get it to generate. 1 person got like 1/4 of a map with a lot of noise. It's not the screen res issue either, we are all working at 1280 * something high. I hope IrrtAnt can comment on this.

2) FFs. I have the idea of using a fluid volume with very high friction to replicate the original slo-mo FFs. It isn't working. I'd really hate to put in vanilla FFs, since I always thought that a strategic rape was really a part of Mino. But I think open bases will suck, since a HO can be there in like 3 seconds.

Any help? any ideas? any comments?
This could be in limited beta by sunday.

Do you have a boundary volume in place? Black screens usually show up if you don't.

Tweaking an elevator volume or something might be the best bet to get a slow ff effect.

You must have a boundary volume. The engine generates the command map based on the extents of the largest boundary volume.

Also, you must have your graphics setting set to 1024x768 or higher, otherwise it produces garbage.

It must be HIGHER than 1024, at least in my experience.

Thats a good idea. But I can't tell what the tweakable values in the elevator volume are / should be. (specifically, how to change the direction, if any). Isn't an elevator volume new to TV? where can I find a detailed list of the volume values and what they do?

I'm out for Thanksgiving vacation, but when I return I'll play around with the volumes and see what I can find.
