SoCal - LAN Party - December 4th, 04' (TRIBES VENGEANCE!!!) Free TV Shirts for TW!!!!

I run LANmaniac (http://www.lanmaniac.com) and we are a bi-weekly LAN party based in the southern California area, bordering Los Angeles and Orange county.

Our events go on for a duration of 24hrs starting Saturday at around 11am and going on through Sunday.

We play everything under the sun including COD:UO, Battlefield 1942, UT2K4, Far Cry, Soldier of Fortune II, Need for Speed Underground 2, Wolfenstein Enemy Territory and yes... Tribes Vengeance :P as well as any other FPS game that looks interesting.

I have tried VERY hard with getting this group of guys into Tribes Vengeance and so far it has gone over well with the group. Sure we won't play Tribes Vengeance solid, but of the 24hr or so that we LAN, I have been able to get them into TV for at least half of the time.

But if more TV players where present, other than myself. I'm sure that we could make the game even more popular. I'm a pretty good TV player since I have been with Tribes since day one. But at the LAN I kick ass since no one else has the amount of experience that I do. Bringing in new TV players into the group would help balance out the playing field and would make this game even more popular among the group.

Other then introducing TV to the LAN, I have setup two dedicated TV servers on the net. One server is a demo server and the other is retail. The demo server is full 24/7 (except in the wee hours of the night) but the retail server sees little use. You can view them here... http://www.lanmaniac.com/netservers/

BTW thanks to guy.welch I have about 8-10 TV shirts to give away at our next event to any TV members that sign up and attend our LAN!!!

NP dude, I'll have no problem making room for you the day you randomly show up. The only problem is that you will need two spaces, but I'm sure that we can make that work out one way or another.

Big Truck has yet to make one of my events :/ He says that he might do it sooner or later. But I duno. My luck would go better if I showed up to his upcoming LAN. But I have a LAN on that day, so I doubt that I'll be showing up to his next frag fest.
