HP PC System Recovery

Ok.... now i've never had any problems formating any boxes, been doin it for 10 years.

Now i've ran into this HP PC SYSTEM RECOVERY horseshit, i can't format with boot discs, i can't format with the actual system recovery, as even after it is done restoring, it boots right into the SAME FUCKING THING.

How the living christ do you disable this piece of shit...

xp pro doesnt format it via cd?

google for a debug command to low level format(or something like that) the drive.

also, delete the partitions via fdisk instead of formatting

don't low level format, any 'risk' is too much risk

i always forget about fdisk cause i don't use win9x boot disks much anymore. but yea, that'll work fine
