that are within the map fog boundary but out outside of the user fog boundary.People with low FPS dont need anymore handicaps.

Seriously. It's a little annoying to not see an IFF straight-on, but turn your LOS 45' and suddenly it's there... Yuck.

That's due to the clipping plane being flat. If you think about it, you put a plane at any given distance from your veiwpoint and the sides will reach slightly further than the middle. It's an issue with most FPS games. In T2 it wasn't such a big deal because the plan was SO far off.

It's also possible to do more complex clipping, but it comes at a significant cost.

On the IFFs not being clipped via foggin, yeah that would be handy alright. Would definatly help level the playing field some.

I never really could understand the reason for having a fog setting. That's something the mapper should decide.
