hey I just had a general question for everyone. I just got a x800 xt. I have a shuttle PC with a 200 watt power supply. Now for those of you that know shuttle PCs, you don't need as much power as you would with a normal case. However I was wondering if my 200 watt will be able to pump out enough power for my new x800.

In theorie yes, since it has the minimal amount of peripherals, unless the card has an external power connector like the Nvidia 6800. The power is not the issue with a shuttle box, the problem is heat. I would not install anything more powerful then a 9600xt.
the x800 do require that you connect it to the power supply so that is why I was asking. Heat is not a problem because shuttles are so small that the fans cover a greater amount of space. I have never had any computer that is as cool as the inside of my shuttle PC. The main reason being that it is slighty water cooled. Now that you know that the x800 do require extra power....do you think that my ps will be able to run it at an ok speed?

i would say... NO, 200W is not enough, especially since 200W on the label means it's 200W MAX.
