in the upcoming patch please lower how much CPU power this game demands, especially in a 10v10 match.I dont care how you do it or what detail I lose (aslong as it doesnt effect how I play) just get it done.

Frankly, I think netcode is a bigger issue.


The prediction code could use some work too. My client sometimes doesn't predict water collisions correctly (I get underwater, then half a second later I warp above it because I happened to have bounced off the surface actually). I don't think that should happen in any case (unless certain properties of these physics are determined by the server and thus affected by ping: but that shouldn't be the case, should it?).

It sux to be able to play with 70-80 fps when there's only 3-4 people in a server but then have a max FPS at around 20-30 on a full 20 man server regardless if they are on screen or not.

Also, anything that can be done to reduce the non regs by ATLEAST half (netcode) I'd be grateful. There's been countless times when I'd die or lose a cap due to a stupid ass non-reg. On many occasions I've gotten 3+ non regs in a row, that is simply not acceptable.

I dont think thats because of the netcode but because of low FPS.The better my FPS is the less NRs and other bugs happen.I can have 15ping and still get NRs if my FPS is garbage.

fps is just on your computer. fps has nothing to do with NR's and bugs

what i have gotten a few times is that for the duration of my life, a certain weapon will not fire. Like it will go thru the animations of firing, but nothing will come out. I can switch to all of my other weapons and fire, but when i switch back it still won't fire. I have only had this happen to me in two seperate occations, once with the disc and another with the mortar. I was talking to a friend and they said that they had the same thing happen to them.

Yeah, they'll get right on that. They haven't been bashing away at the Unreal Engine the last 3 years for nothing, I'm sure they'll throw this up for you in the next patch.

not sure why it's relevant in this thread but i've had the same problem with the grenade launcher

Ahem, on topic (more or less) I'm perty sure that any optimizations they can find will go out the door. I don't think I've seen a single game that's preformance wasn't enhanced with patches.

just give us the ability to identify our buddies (bf1942/nam)

and

the flag icons: if we (the good guys) have possesion of 'x' flags then 'x' flags should all be green. and the same for the bad guys only make theres..... how about red.

Fps can influence the amout of NR's you get, but it's not the main thing that's causing them.

That can get very confusing when there are 2 green flags and no red flag. I can understand the logic behind it (friendly with flag/enemy with flag), but it's simpler and more intuitive to have 2 icons that are always the same color.
