Catalyst 4.10+ WMV corruption fix [Archive]

Did Catalyst 4.10 or later screw up your WMV file playback? If so, the codec pack here from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/format/codecdownload.aspx ) will fix it.

Just posting because I've been chasing this problem for a month, and it's been corrupting videos on news pages and messing up my porn collection .
