Poor Support From VUgames

I sent a question to VUgames support about the following and got some lame ass caned response...........

Question:

Hello Tech support. Im running the Tribes Vengeance Server beta and was wondering if there was some way to increase the font size for the MOTD screen. The font size is really small at a resolution of 1024 by 768

Then why have a tech support division at all if they are just going to email you some dumb ass caned answer. I worked on the Server Motherboard Team ( Tech Support ) at Intel for four years. If I were to send a response to a customer like I recieved I would have been fired on the spot!

I called them on the phone - there is a number. It was answered in India by a fellow that was bright, glad to have a job, tired of hearing people complain about exported jobs and a little hard to understand.

But it was immeadeate. Give it a try. I think Nokia's warranty covers the phone and head tumors. :)

P.S.
The number was with the game materials, printed or electronic - dont remember.

VUG used to have pretty good support then i think they all got laid off about 6 months ago

So where does it say that Im asking them to modify anyhing thing. It could be just a flag or setting in server.ini file or in the defaultuser.ini file or what ever. Its obvious you are running a server so STFU!!! damn newbies

1. You want to increase a font, in other words modify the font. So you are asking for a way to modify something.

2. You sound like you're 5.

3. Calling other people newbies on a forum while having no idea if theyre good in game makes you sound 5. See #2.

It really makes no difference what T-Vet was asking. The same response would've been sent regarding any E-Mail with the word "server" in it.

I think that was his main point ;)

The job of Technical Support is to help you run the game at the best performance possible. They don't need to know how to edit the game's HUDs.

OK Guys !!!

Now that I have cooled down... "I APLOGIZE" for being rude. I was really pissed off becuase of the caned response for my issue. All I wanted to know if the font size could be changed that's all. When I call a company for support for their product, I do not expect an email with some lame ass caned repsonse. I expect eaither a YES, NO, No it cant be done, Here is the fix to your issue or I would have accepted an I DONT KNOW Answer hehehe. But a caned answer from a company that I bought their product is unexceptable. However I expect a company to support their customers with professional knowledgeable support about their product. Like a said before .. If I was still working for Intel, and if I had sent a email response like I recieved I would have been fired on the spot!

Again I Apologize for being a weiner boy!
