if u are talking about t2 base then there are going to be alot of pissed off vet^x's here quickly.

I think there would be a market for all for the T2 vehicles, cloak pack, vehicle stations, weapons, etc.

For me, T:V base is close enough to T2 Classic. Sure it's not exactly the same, but I don't see any sense in splitting up the competitive community over it.

it would be a t:v classic mod wouldn't it? the whole shebang of the t1 set ported to t:v... then again i didn't play t2 classic so i dont know exactly what it was...

Lost of folks probaly want a T2 like mod because it was more fun for pub play. Yes TV is probaly going to be great for competition, but most peeps play on pubs and base TV does get a bit boring after awhile.

Of course I'd hate to see a nerfed down base version of a T2 mod it would definitely need the classic like speed.

T1/T2C would be too close to what T:V already is.

A T2 Base Mod would be more of a departure from T:V.

Things I'd like to see in a T2 Base Mod

- Bomber
- Tank
- Grav Cycle
- Shrike
- Havoc (Faster/Durable, more like V2)
- Vehicle Pad (Build Vehicles)
- Automated Base Turrets
- T2 Inventory System
- V-Chat
- Waypointing (Objects/Players, bring back VVH and VCA)
- Deployables from Inventories

yeah, it does get boring cuz when Utopia or Highlands come around, lotta peeps bail. Ah dunno, it just doesn't hold me like I'd expect it to. Need a tactical-oriented mod or something :-) (insert obligatory whine about needing team-waypoints, zoom-able command map, stealth pack, yada yada)
