rofl.
Just grapple straight up, drag yourself up, and then swing over on to a ledge.
Don't try to grapple on or right above the ledge, choose a part that juts out above it, or just the wall above it.

Take your time. Yes you cut the grapple on the wall plenty of times. Watch for outhanging ledges (like the broken staircase corner pieces), use your air control to pull yourself away from the wall as you slowly reel yourself in. There should be two outhanging staircase thingies in the corner. At least 1 of those should be able to let you grapple to the thing the chandaler is attached to, and then you just swing yourself up to the ledge.

the grapple can also stretch reallllly far in SP so go for longer lengths than you would think. i got through first time i tried that scene, but man i pissed my pants.

:D yaya I had been reading MP cheating topics all day. MP is the last place I need help, I dominate :D
Thanks for all the advice, I guess I'll try again.
Hopefully when europe gets the game there will be more bodies in MP to own.
I only play the SP because the MP is not in full swing yet.

Not calling ya out or debating your skill but as you are a member (and i assume not a vet with a new name) - I recomend trying MP on some of the higher skill servers than what your probably used to.
If your East Try playing on Kore East or 5150 & If you are west Look for Team Fusion - San Diego or Vanguard Competition West. They may be fulla nd take some time to get into but youllb e pleasently suprised by the skill you find their more often than the average server. if you still dominate on those servers in MP then i recommend you find a team and get involved in competition.
Good Luck.

I play regularly on team fusion. well I dont play often but when I do I play on team fusion because my ping is 40ish.
I don't have time to game with a team anymore because of school and kids, but you may see me in that team fusion server as Rugged[VIA] I also play a fast server in texas but I forgot the name.
I mostly play defense (I miss spider clamp turrets) and assault. No capping for me... hence, no grapplij.
I've played the other starsiege/tribes games but dont consider myself a tribes vet.
But I did trade two games I played competitively (bf'nam and bf'42) for tribes vengeance after playing the demo.
thanks for teh info, when I get home i'm looking for a railing.
