Heh, that's like EXACTLY what people said when DT was released for T2 (Anti-cheat).

There was a decline in active pubs at first and then back to normal numbers. Only difference was pubs were much more tolerable. Way less OMG YOU CHEAT in global and less whored mode using chain. RIS lasted longer, etc.

All around things improved. Sure, a few still found work arounds, but it kinda made the cheating scene start over and I don't think it ever truly recovered (cheating crowd) after DT was released.

Anti-cheat software works to minimize and discourage cheating. And that's a good thing.

I'm going to go out on a limb and sya that since Thrax has zero to do with the game that PB will never happen. I mean, there is no one left an VU with any pull that gives a rats ass, plus it saves them money. So your left with two options, IG comes up with something that can be updated or the community does. Basically outlook is grim.

Except the difference in this situation, is that by the time lasthope came out all of the people who became disillusioned with T1 cheats had already left.
