there is no fov 360 or 200. Get it allready.
180 IS THE MAX.

I am quite sure there is a 360.
I played with it. You can't literally see 360 degrees around you, but it is definitley NOT the same as 180.

You know what 360 degrees means right?

You implied that 360 did not exist.
I understand the concept of 360 degrees in a circle, yes.

I would agree that setting your fov to 360 does not actually allow you to see in a complete circle yes. I however, disagree with your statement that 360 does not exist, specifically because I can enter 360 into the console and something happens. I also disagree with your statement that 180 is the max. After trying 180, and then 360, it is quite easy to see that 360 gives a wider view.

It is beyond me to tell you how many degrees the command for 360 affords, but it is quite obviously more than 180. This is the root of my disagreement with your statement.

Basically, 360 != 180, and therefore what you said is wrong.

You're both wrong, the upper limit on the fov command is 170, adding in any value higher than 170 just sets your fov to 170, so gg you lose.

And there is no technical reason why a FPS'er could not display a 360 degrees fov, and yes it would show you everything behind you, but TV's fov command does not allow values greater than 170.

Ok, maybe this has changed with the release, but in demo, for absolute certain, I was able to set my fov to "360" and have it display a lot. In 200 or 180 or whatever, I saw less.

On my computer, 180 is max and 80 is min (non-zoomed). Changing the setting from 180 to 360 does nothing to the display.

Fair enough, having never played the retail I will take your word that it has been changed.

It did, however, work at one time.

Oops, correction: TeoH is right. 170 is the max. I don't remember if I had actually tested for 180 as max before.

Yeah, I just went and checked.

Going completely against the Tribalwar spirit I will admit I was wrong.

170 does seem to be max.

I was wrong too. I should have said "There is no fov 200 or 360 in T:V".
