Does any one have any suggestions on making a T:V video? I have Fraps, and Vegas Video. But looks confusing.

Are those good programs to use, and whats the best way to do this?

What I have done is takin some demos, and then I go watch the demos, and while watching I fraps the good parts...is that efficient? Or is there a better/easier way to be doing this?

Any help with making a video is much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

That's how you do it, unless you feel like having Fraps running while you actually play.

Yah, in my experience making a demo first then frapping it takes much less overhead (better fps) than actually frap demoing during the game.

Alright cool, however. When I push F9 (record) while watching my demo my FPS goes from say 30-45, down to like 9...is that supposed to happen? Or is something not set correctly?

That's kind of normal, as it's recording everything coming through the video card. You can try dropping the detail/resolution in fraps or in-game, close programs, definately close any virus scanners, etc. Disabling sound or reducing the quality may help as well, to free up cpu/ram. Not much else to do, I think.

(Your sig looks like it's beyond the 20kb limit. Don't know if sigbot is awake again yet, but just to warn you there)
