Does anyone know who the VUG Official Servers admins are? There was a guy in VUG Officcial 3 who went by the name "Kill Bot V1" using the aimbot, and we couldn't get rid of him no matter how many times we voted. It would be nice to have contact information to an admin, so we can get someone to come kick aimbot users off VUG Official servers. I sent and email to admin@homelan.com and I got an autoreply. This is very frustrating, that the voting system is so hosed in T:V that we can't vote people out at all. We can't even vote admins and we can't even vote team damage on. We tried everything to get rid of this guy.

and even if you manage to vote him off he just changes his name and comes back.

VU servers are horrible anyway. Avoid them.
I know that can be difficult when it's one of only 2-3 full servers. : \

The VUG Official Servers are run under contract by HomeLAN. At this point no admins besides the direct employees working on the servers themselves have been activated, so admin coverage is spotty at best. This is something that will hopefully change soon.

Well, that's the thing... late night PST you don't usually have too many choices.
If anyone knows HomeLAN folks, could you ask them to PLEASE turn on cap limits? Oh, and also increase the time between maps. With the default settings by the time you move your hand off your mouse the next map is already loading. With the frantic pace of the retail maps I could definatley use a 1 minute breather to stretch the back and check out the scores... Plus it'd be nice to have time to discuss the key moments of the match as opposed to frantically trying to type 'gg' before the screen changes.
I guess that goes for all server admins, not just HomeLAN.

There's plenty of other servers out there. Just don't patronize the VU Official.
Yah there was also a person by the name of [FKA]Megaman I believe on one of the VUG servers that I recorded in specator mode using the aimbot. Was tryin to find an admin, didn't happen :(

Well, when there are only 1 or 2 servers with any people in them and a decent ping, you take what you can get. All they have to do is change the server settings to add capouts, add a little more breathing time between maps, and lower the kick vote percentage and they could be quite decent servers. Especially if you're looking for a big game, as few individuals / clans are willing to shell out the kinda cash it takes to run a 32 man server in T:V.

I'd happily run a 32-man T:V server if everyone who played on it pitched in $5/mo via Paypal. Not even the pubbers, just the folks who scrim and use it for ladder matches.

The 32-man official servers (I think they are #1 and #2) lag out when they get full. I suppose this didn't used to be a problem but for some reason they seem to have gained in (relative) popularity recently. Despite my calls for cap limits and a bit more time between maps falling on deaf ears, I just have to suggest lowering the player count on these servers.
