Ok so I took 5 nodoze pills last night to stay awake.
I guess I wasn't aware that people actually use caffeine as a drug and OD on nodoze to get trips and whatnot until i was reading erowid today.
Holy fuck, i thought i was going to die. never taking those fucking pills again... keep in mind this was 100% unintentional.
anyone else have nodoze experiences?

heh i took too many no doze one day in HS. i thought i was going to have a heart attack. now i rarely drink caffeine :P

yeah i totally agree... atleast now i do anyways.
honestly i didnt know what i was doing. i was in a hurry to get home and study so i grabbed a bottle of nodoze at rite-aid. i didnt read the bottle nor had i ever taken caffeine pills before so i assumed normal dosage was like 2 pills so i took 5 instead thinking it would give me a booster.
After 6 hours of madness... the walls seemed to be shaking, my bedroom light was very intense, i was shaking a lot and then coming down i felt like puking my guts out then i went out and woke up in the morning
damn
p.s. i read the bottle and it said to take half a pill (hence why they have a middle cut to break it in half. and 1 pill if the half isnt styrong enough
ya, they put that writing on the side of the bottle called DIRECTIONS for a reason :)

uh...that was beyond stupid, that could have really, really fucked you up...glad you got away lucky
most bottles of nodoze are extra strength meaning 200mg of caffeine each...and 1 of those is enough to perk you right the fuck up if you arent used to a high caffeine intake...hell 1 is too much for a lot of people....2 is too much for pretty much everyone else...just for compairison, a 16oz black coffee from starbucks (highest caffeine content of any coffee) has about 90mg of caffeine...so taking 5 is about the same as drinking 11-16oz cups of black coffee all at once

ok after looking up a bit of info just cause i was curious, death by caffeine would be one of the most painful ways i could imagine dying...a 180 pound person would have to take somewhere around 60 extra strength nodoze before reaching the typical lethal dose
however it is VERY easy to reach an overdose...and here is a short list of symptoms
Caffeine-Induced Organic Mental Disorder 305.90 Caffeine Intoxication
Recent consumption of caffeine, usually in excess of 250 mg.
At least five of the following signs:
restlessness
nervousness
excitement
insomnia
flushed face
diuresis
gastrointestinal disturbance
muscle twitching
rambling flow of thought and speech
tachycardia or cardiac arrhythmia
periods of inexhaustibility
psychomotor agitation
Not due to any physical or other mental disorder, such as an Anxiety Disorder.

Yeah that's pretty fuckin bad. I can tell you I suffered enough just from the symptoms I got. The worst torture about it is that I felt really sick and usually I'm able to sleep or rest it off but I was so awake because of them and yet so sick that I had to ride it out while being completely awake. After they wore off I dropped like a brick though.
Shrug, I guess it may be fun to take 2 or something but 5 was just way beyind me. I don't even drink soda.
