EDIT: About 2900 poly's so far...

I think I'm going to model a gun holding turret on the shoulders for changable gun loadouts; I'm also going to mount some forward facing guns aswell.

I doubt it...

I already have plans to do about 3-5+ different cat variations of this model and then move on to a dog model and do the same amount of variations on that aswell.

Here's the first variation of the cat model. I added in some very simple texturing to show what it might resemble when completely done:

I'm almost completely satisfied with this variation and should probably take another week at the most. After I'm done with texturing and minor tweaking, I will be animating it.
