I think VU is going to hold the $50 price until Christmas at least.

What some people (not necessairly referring to you) seem to overlook is that Tribes has no chance of breaking the top 10, ever. Even with the simplifications here and there, the game is still pretty complex, and requires more skill than a lot of players are willing to earn for a single game. That, however, doesn't mean that it will be a failure.

Yea, I probably should have said the Top 20. I thought it would do better than it has so far. If they do hold the price at $50 till Christmas this game will be at a real selling disadvantage.

Vengeance is a fun game, even though it may not have the depth or staying power,(yet to be seen), of T1 and T2. It is definetely worth buying. If I remember right when T2 first came out it had so many bugs and problems most couldn't play it for more than 3 to 5 minutes before it UE'd. It took 3 months I think, before the competition ladders were even able to open. It released around March 31, 2001 and the ladders didn't open until June or July after several patches.

T:V has some bugs but nothing like T2 did at launch. Everything will get worked out over the next several months.

Only if you want the franchise dead.

<sarcasm>Yes, that's what I'm saying :roller: </sarcasm>

Corporate buisness ethics have already put a stranglehold on the franchise, what consumers choose to do with it is only their reaction.
