Mattack 10-24-2004, 01:25 AM Got an 800x600 version? and w/o transradar please. or you're cut. :P flyte 10-24-2004, 01:57 AM This HUD is pretty good.. but some comments/questions: (I play in 1280x1024) a) fonts are wayy too small.. I can bearly read anything.. increase size of text in all areas (especially scorehud and ammo count by reticle b) how do you turn off the transparent radar? I like seeing the terrain on my radar.. it helps greatly. c) I'd still like to see the weapon/pack/deployable/flag icons made larger (see jotuns at 1280x1024) .. since I don't see my weapon at all.. the icon + reticle is the only indication of what weapon I am carrying. d) how can I bring back the b/g for the chat hud? that said.. good job on a nice hud. DonnaKaran 10-24-2004, 03:36 AM damn this rox, thx man!! k3rst 10-24-2004, 08:39 AM and w/o transradar please. or you're cut. :P 800x600 :) RA-Jeff 10-24-2004, 10:05 AM That's what I want. :) pronigy 10-24-2004, 10:15 AM I'm re-releasing it in about a day or so with modular options. The following will be modular: Transparent Radar Transparent Chat Show Offense, Defense, Style Points Minimal Reticles Flag Icon Location Additional Changes: Flashing red flag icon Green pack icon when charged Quickchat menu is not as ugly Zoom scale displayed again Let me know if anything else needs to be included / modularized. Sorry about the 1280x1024 version being smaller than desired. I rushed it to make a few ppz happy. With time I will re-release a version that is more visually pleasing. RA-Jeff 10-25-2004, 01:09 PM I will be especially interested in how do I get the radar to be transparant and maybe figure out how to get the centerbars transparant. What do you mean to make the Quickchat menu less ugly? What will you do? And finally that's interesting to see how you make the pack green when charged. These are the things I want to add to my HUD. Whenever of course, you have the time or when this new HUD is released. ChickenLover 10-25-2004, 02:39 PM Don't suppose you could add an option to turn off/on ammo display counts for the weapons on the side? RA-Jeff 10-25-2004, 05:29 PM Do I just drop in the transradar.pkg to get it to work? Maddog 10-25-2004, 05:34 PM This HUD is pretty good.. but some comments/questions: (I play in 1280x1024) a) fonts are wayy too small.. I can bearly read anything.. increase size of text in all areas (especially scorehud and ammo count by reticle b) how do you turn off the transparent radar? Why not just use jotun's. Seems everything he did, you do not like. Also, the reason he made all the icons and transparantcies is to see more game play. RA-Jeff 10-25-2004, 05:51 PM Do I just drop in the transradar.pkg to get it to work? Yo the above question please? I did drop it in, but does not look transparant. Do I have to do something else to get it to work? YYZ 10-25-2004, 07:08 PM It will be nice when the huds are placed in a database where you can pick your resolution and see what's available....it seems not many peeps run at 1600x1200 which is all I'm interested in. In fact what would really be nice would be a modular HUD scripting site where we can pick and choose the elements (ammo, flag hud, radar, reticle, etc.) we like best and can integrate them into our current hud and then simply worry about placement on the screen...not sure if this is possible though. It may never be the scripting dream that was T1. BTW, how do I get larger text in the default HUD when in 1600x1200 mode? RA-Jeff 10-25-2004, 07:52 PM Do I just drop in the transradar.pkg to get it to work? Tried it I am guessing there is another way to get it to work because just dropping it in did not work. RA-Jeff 10-30-2004, 12:30 PM Got it to work. Thanks. ParoxysM 10-30-2004, 01:44 PM links broke? | ||
